At Yuba County Special Education, the student:teacher ratio has risen 14% over the 5-year window — from 9.9:1 in 2020 to 11.3:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 5.5:1 below in 2020 to 4.1:1 below in 2024.
